Portraits by Antonio Mancini

Since 2008 I have been carrying out research on the life and work of the Italian painter Antonio Mancini (Rome 1852-1930). My theses are also devoted to the artist:
– Three-year degree thesis: “Antonio Mancini: the early works” (dec. 2009)
– Master’s thesis: “Mancini, Sargent and portraiture in Europe between nineteenth and twentieth centuries” (jan. 2012)
– PhD: “British artists in Rome (1883-1913): presences, exchanges and influences on Italian portraiture” (may 2016)
Since 2012 I have published several studies and curated two exhibitions on Mancini (see here and here). I am currently working on a new study about his stay between England and Ireland. If you have information about paintings he made there, please send me an email at info@manuelcarrera.it
Your help is greatly appreciated.
